The Arc is launching a new series of informative hot topic presentations that will bring essential information to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.
Our first Hot Topic Presentation, Systems Change: Connecting the Dots, will be held on Monday, March 11 and will focus on how current systems change impacts future service delivery. State level officials Todd Coffey from Colorado Department of Human Services; Barbara Rydellfrom the Division for Developmental Disabilities; and Sarah Robertsfrom Long Term Services and Supports will come together to share information and updates from their areas. Specific discussion items include changes affecting people receiving Medicaid waiver services as well as those affecting Colorado’s seniors.
Adults with I/DD and their families are encouraged to attend this free presentation. Discussion will emphasize the family’s perspective and experiences. This presentation will be held Monday, March 11, from 12 to 2 PM at Faith Mountain Church, located at 12344 West Alameda Parkway in Lakewood, in the Green Mountain Plaza Shopping Center on the south side of Alameda Parkway.
